2022 CATA Scholarship Fundraiser

CATA’s Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee would like to thank all the donors who helped us surpass our $25,000 fundraising goal. Thanks to your generosity, we will be presenting checks for $1,000 to 26 deserving high school seniors during the Junior Banquet on May 1st, 2022 at the Renaissance Hotel. The fundraising surplus will go toward the CATA 2023 Scholarship Fund.

Thank you for supporting the Capital Area Tennis Association. 2022 is set to be a one-of-a-kind year!

Each year at our CATA Junior Banquet, we award scholarships to hard-working, accomplished high school seniors. If you have had the chance to attend a CATA Junior Banquet in the last 26 years as a parent, coach, mentor, or student, then you know first-hand the powerful impact a scholarship can make on these kids.

Last year CATA awarded $22,000 to 22 tennis players from 15 different high schools in the area.

The Scholarship Committee received amazing applications from outstanding high school seniors. The pandemic has impacted our fundraising efforts with previous contributors, so we are reaching out to you, the stalwarts of the central Texas tennis community, for help!

Two easy ways to help:
  • DONATE ONLINE
  • Mail a check, payable to CATA, to 5511 Parkcrest Drive, Suite 104, Austin, TX. 78731
