WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! Are you a cancer survivor or former caregiver? Please consider being trained!
Peer-to-Peer Matching Program
Regarding Cancer has over 240 trained volunteers who improve the quality of care and outcomes for cancer patients and their caregivers by providing them with coping skills that enable them to regain a sense of control, reduce isolation, and restore hope during treatment and into survivorship. Following a training session, volunteers can participate in our peer-to-peer matching program.
Please consider making a donation to our EVERY COLOR MATTERS FUNDRAISER today! Once you DONATE, an email will be sent to set up a FUNDRAISING PAGE!
Where can I walk?
Anywhere! or wherever you can safely. Get out and get active on trails, treadmills and in your neighborhood. Encourage your family and friends to do the same. You can even include your four-legged family members! Just be sure to stay safe and practice social distancing!
Do you need proof that I actually finished my run or walk?
No, and there is no need to report any results. We do encourage you, however, to share your experience online by posting photos and videos on Regarding Cancer’s Facebook event page, or anywhere on social media using #EveryColorMatters and #@Regarding.Cancer.
How can I let others know I’m participating?
Make any donation. Then, share your photos and walk day festivities on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #EveryColorMatters and @Regarding.Cancer. Once you donate, a link will be sent via email to set up your fundraising page.
Do I need to fundraise?
We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and caregivers. When you fundraise for Regarding Cancer, not only are you raising crucial funds to support our programs and initiatives, but you are also spreading awareness of Regarding Cancer's mission.
Does my gift impact current programs?
Yes! Your gift will help Regarding Cancer continue to provide peer-to-peer support to cancer patients and caregivers in the Central Texas area.
