The Challenge!
The #LakeLeapChallenge is intended to draw attention to our imperiled water supply.  Our warming climate is quickly making our drought-prone region dryer.  Surface water is evaporating at alarming rates, and our growing population is quickly depleting our reservoirs.

Freezin' for a Reason!
We set a fundraising goal of $40,000 to help our water supply.  If we reach that goal, Hill Country Conservancy Board Members and executive staff will live-stream a sure-to-be entertaining leap into the cold waters of Lake Austin!

Make your gift now!
Your gift will:

  • Direct clean surface water into our aquifers and reservoirs
  • Reduce extreme heat by protecting plants and trees that consume carbon dioxide
  • Ensure that all people, wildlife, and plants living in and around the Hill Country continue to have enough water necessary—not only to stay healthy, but to thrive.
